Services for Patsy Ruth Landers Vann, 71, of Pollok, will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Bickley officiating. Interment will follow at Gann Cemetery.
Patsy was born March 26, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of the late Jesse and Annie (Craft) Landers and passed away on February 16, 2019 in Lufkin.
Mrs. Vann was a member of Pollok Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She was a great fan of country music and especially loved Elvis. She loved her son and grandkids tremendously. She will be dearly missed. She was a wonderful cook and worked many years at Wagon Wheel BBQ and retired from, Lufkin State School.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Vann of Pollok; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Beth Due of Pollok; grandchildren, Seth and wife Ashley Due of Houston, Taylor Due of Pollok, and Tara Due of Pollok; step sons, Rodney Vann, Tracey Vann, and Stacey Vann; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Wanda Landers; sister, Betty Cochran; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Sue Landers. She had many friends, including special friends, Dee Dee McClendon of Lufkin and Kim Kelly of Pollok. Pat was a special aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Her friends and family loved her so much. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Vann will be escorted to her final resting place by pallbearers: Seth Due, Randall Craft, Dennis Cochran, Michael Cochran, Joey Landers, and Austin Landers. Honorary pallbearers include: Josh Parks, Michael D. Cochran, Mason Kelly, and Grant Cochran.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
