Paul Randal Reavis

Loving son, brother, uncle and brother-in-law, Randy passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, in his home on November 29, 2009. He was well loved by everyone who knew him. His world revolved around his niece Cortni and nephew Brandon. Randy was well known for his good cooking and his love for everyone he met. He loved to help people any way he could. His passion was video games and movies. He was of the Baptist Faith. Randy was employed for Joy Sales in Lufkin, a family operated business. He also operated King Putt Miniature Golf in the past for several years. Survivors include his dad, Paul J. Reavis and mother, Joyce L. Reavis, both of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Chanda Reavis of Lufkin; very special niece, Cortni Davis and husband Kyle of Lufkin; special nephew and best friend, Brandon Reavis of Lufkin; aunt, Jane Ruggles of Charleston, SC; and numerous cousins and special friends. Pallbearers will be John Matthews, David Johnson, Chris Coleman, Chad Coleman, Clint Coleman, Tommy Nowlin and James Nowlin. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Davis and Mitchel Conner. Services for Randy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2009 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
