Philip H. (Sonny) Harrison was born on December 16th, 1938 and died on April 26th, 2026 at the age of 87. He was born to the late Stella Durham Fenley and the late Philip Harrison. After Philip's dad passed away at a young age his mother married Pete Fenley who became a large part of his life.
Philip was mostly a private person but loved panning trips to meet up with his sister Betty in their hometown of Lufkin. They would rotate spending a few nights between relatives like Gary and June Greening, Henry and Billie Marie Jordan and Homer and JoAnn Denby among many others. Trips always included drinking coffee and reminiscing about times gone by. Sonny graduated from Texas A and M and spent most of his life in the real estate business.
He is survived by his sister Betty Rae (Kristine) of Salem, MA and cousins Pate Greening, Marvin Greening, Henry Jordan, Lance Jordan, Susie Redd, Karen Macias, Deborah Luna, Susan Madden, Blake Denby Sarah Moore, Ethel DuBose, Caroline Henderson and many other friends and relatives.
Graveside services will be Saturday, May 16th at 2 pm at Largent Cemetery in Lufkin. Please share with friends and relatives and feel free to join us.
