Robert was an avid movie enthusiast who greatly enjoyed watching films, especially spending quality time with his wife sharing their love of movies together.
Survivors include wife, Marilyn Lyons of Lufkin; step-son, Samuel Roberts and Tera of Florida; grandchildren, McKyle Danahy Roberts, Samuel Que Roberts, Sierra Roberts, Daniel Roberts and brother, Curtis Grant; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.
