Graveside services for Wayne Lovelady, 72, of Lufkin, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2022 at Narroway Cemetery, with Melissa Long officiating.

Wayne was born May 20, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of the late Dorothy (Thomas) and B. F. Lovelady. He passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in a local hospital.

Wayne was a loving husband, brother and uncle. He worked as an electrician. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a proud member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Lovelady of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Jack Squyres of Huntington; his beloved dogs Lulu and Chloe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Walter Lovelady.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the cemetery.
