

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosa Espino Garcia, 84, of Diboll, will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Luis Fernando Arroyave Perez. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Garcia was born August 22, 1941 in Sevina, Michoacan Mexico daughter of the late Victoria (Zavalla) and Esteban Espino. She passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Hospice in the Pines inpatient.
Rosa loved her church and was a devoted woman of faith. She found joy in sewing and cooking and specially cherished spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Rosa was also an avid sports fan who cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Astros, never missing a game. She will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Tony Jr. and Desiree Garcia of Apple Springs, Jesse of Diboll and daughter-in-law, Melanie, of Houston, and Jaime David and Dusti Garcia of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Flor Maria (Mary) and Manuel Concha of Diboll, Bertha and Tony Carroll of Tenaha and Rosalina and Jorge Servin of Diboll; grandchildren, Matthew and Kimberly, Sayori and Angela, Quinton and Miriam, Samantha, Tiana, and Michael-Anthony, Andrew, and Dante and Jewelissa; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Antonio M. Garcia; siblings, Pedro Espino, Matilde Espino-Martinez, and Consuelo Espino-Hernandez.
Pallbearers will be Tony Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Jaime David Garcia, Michael Anthony Garcia, Dante Garcia, and Andrew Carroll.
Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel Concha, Eric Menchaca, Quinton Huiet, Tony Carroll, and Jorge Servin.
Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with the family receiving friends and loved ones from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
