Family graveside services for Russell Bluford Cummings, 96, of Lufkin, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 in the Whitehouse Cemetery, with David Treadaway officiating.

Mr. Cummings was born January 3, 1926 in Alto, Texas, the son of the late Dicie (Terrell) and Arthur Victor Cummings. He passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Cummings was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was retired from Southland Paper Mill.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Patti and Wayne Corcoran of Huntsville and Jo and David Treadaway of Amarillo; grandchildren, Rusty Corcoran, Tracie Morris and Jon Treadaway; and great-grandchildren, Aspen, Brecken and Creeden Morris; Grady and Brooks Treadaway.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lee (Simpson) Cummngs; sister, Dorris Storey; and brothers, Arthur Cummings and Charles Cummings.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Cummings memory may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, TX 75904.
