Santos Aguilar was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He absolutely adored his wife and grandchildren; they brought him such joy. His face would light up when they were near, and he always made time for them with his stories, his laughter, and his gentle presence. To them, he was more than just a grandfather—he was their hero, their comfort, their inspiration. He beamed with pride at each of their little milestones.
Dad loved to raise crops and farm animals. He raised a family, and a legacy of love and resilience. And though he may be gone from this earth, his laughter, his kindness, and his love will live on in all of us.
He worked for Temple Inland for over 40 years, where he was a dedicated and hardworking employee, respected by his colleagues and committed to providing for his family through his strong work ethic and perseverance.
Rest easy, Dad. Your hands are finally at rest, but your spirit will always be with us—in the hearts of your grandkids, and in every act of love we carry forward.
Santos was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bertha Aguilar, and his son, Jesus Aguilar.
He is survived by his loving children: daughter Sonia Meza and family, son Ernesto Aguilar and family, daughter Lucy Lopez and family, daughter Irma Montoya and family, brother Jose J. Aguilar, and daughter-in-law Eva Aguilar and family. His legacy continues through them and the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who carry his memory forward.
