Sharon Ann McClure

Sharon was a special person. She always had a smile on her face and was loved by many people. She was a member of Carpenter's Way Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Joe Calhoun of Lufkin; brother, David Wayne McClure of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Helen and Gregg Mullins of Lufkin; sister, Tammy Annette Sargent of Lufkin; and special nephew, Tyson McMullen of Sugarland.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Edward McClure; and brother, Pvt. Lynn McClure.

Pallbearers will be John Rowin, Bobby Cates, Pete Smart, Travis Ainsworth, Larry McMinimy and George Scogin.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Caleb's Bible Study Class of Carpenter's Way Baptist Church.

Services for Sharon will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mark Wilke officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
