Visitation and services for Yet Heng, 78, of Lufkin, will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Heng was born March 20, 1940 in Cambodia. She passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in a Lufkin hospital.
Mrs. Heng was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and homemaker.
We will always cherish in our hearts the memories that she left us with. Her life was not these past few months of pain; her life was much more than that. Her life was one of bringing guidance to her family. Her life was one of bringing joy to her family. Her life was one of bringing love to her family. She cared for us unconditionally and we could never ask for a better grandma. She will always live in our hearts.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Henry Kim Lim and Bich Sok Seng of Wichita Falls; daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna Tang and Leng Tang and Sandra Eng and Darren Eng, all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Richie Kim Lim, Melissa Tang, Stephanie Tang, Melinda Tang, Aline Tang, Emily Cheng Eng, Elizabeth Alexis Eng and Dylan Eng; great-grandchildren, Imia Hernandez, Lukas Hernandez, and Nestor Gonzales Jr.; brothers, Sriv Phan and Sreng Phan; and sister, Hun Souk.
Mrs. Heng was preceded in death by her husband, Man Sy Mon; and parents, Phan Hun and Han Hun
