Yvonne Harvill Thompson, 84, of Keller, was born August 26, 1926 in Huntington, Texas, that daughter of the late Violet (Kirkland) and Pat Harvill. She passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in a Beford nursing home.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a graduate of Huntington High School and married George C. Thompson in September 1945. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Hartburg Baptist Church near Orange, Texas and a Sunday School teacher for many years.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Jeanie of Beaumont; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa ad Gary Bruner of Keller; grandchildren, Sarah Brunner of Ft. Worth and Ethan and Shannon Bruner of Irving; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Thompson, on November 26, 2008.
Graveside services for Mrs. Thompson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Fielder Cemetery, with Neil Davis, Music Minister of Huntington's First Baptist Church, officiating.
