Abraham was born in Beverly and lived in the city of Lynn his whole life. He attended Connery and Washington Elementary School and Fecteau-Leary Junior/Senior High School. At a very young age, Abraham fell in love with the game of basketball and from that point on, he could not get away from it. With such a strong love for the game, you could always find him at either Warren Street Park, Marian Gardens, The Lynn YMCA, or The Boy & Girls Club.
Growing up to be the fine young man he truly was, he always found his way to be in positive environments, whether cookouts, basketball events, birthday dinners or any kind of family gathering. Each year he always looked forward to the Annual Shoe City Classic; a basketball event that always brought the city of Lynn together every summer, teaching him what it meant to give back to his community. No matter where he was, or what he was doing, he was always wanted and accepted. Abraham definitely loved his hometown.
Abraham is survived by his mother Aracely Mendez; his older brother Brian Diaz; his nephew Brian Diaz, Jr.; sister-in-law Diana Duran, his Aunt Carmen Mendez, and Aunt Elena Christosomo.
