

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Felice and Ruth (Smith) Benevento. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1965 and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a Seabee.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a landscaper as well as a cement mixer driver for the family business, Benevento Sand & Gravel.
Albert greatly enjoyed his yearly motorcycle trips to Laconia along with Paul Conti and Pat D’Amelio. Above all, he loved his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his stepsons, John J. Hines III and his wife Deborah and Shannon J. Hines and his wife Irene all of Lynn. He was the grandfather of Mark Hines, John Hines IV, Madison Hines, Brenna Hines and Ryleigh Hines. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Philip Benevento and Ruth “Kitty” Benevento.
Albert’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Holy Family Church at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8PM.
