

Anita L. Bloom, of Lynn, passed away January 4, 2021 at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Bloom Sr., the devoted mother of Richard C. Bloom, Jr., and Deborah A. Wilkins and her husband Robert L. Jr., the cherished grandmother of Robert L. Wilkins III, Mathew Wilkins and his wife Danielle, David Wilkins and his wife Janelle, and Reynold Liwanag Jr and his wife Kristen, the loving great-grandmother of Molly, Noella, Caroline, Lily, Ivy, Callie, and Emily Wilkins, and Trey and Theo Liwanag, and the loving sister of Judy McKenna and the late Howard A. Baxendale, Jr.
Anita was the dear daughter of the late Howard A. and Annie (Holbrooke) Baxendale Sr.
She grew up in Somerville, graduated from Somerville High School, and raised her military family in many places and finally settled in Lynn. She worked at Union Hospital for 40 years. She cherished her time spent with family and friends. Her grandsons remembered adding fort tents in the living room, her coming to their Little League games, and spoiling them at Christmas and birthdays.
A Celebration of Life for Anita will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00am at the Cuffe- McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St, Lynn, with interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
