

Anna M. Casey, 92, of Lynn passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Christopher T. Casey and Susan (Murray) Casey. She was the proud sister of the late Joseph D. Casey and William P. Casey, the cherished aunt of Marylou Honey and her husband Michael of England, Pamela Casey O’Brien and her husband Daniel of Saugus, Christopher Casey and his wife Sharon of Marblehead, Maureen Hackman and her husband Christopher of Michigan, and Kevin Casey of Washington D.C., the great-aunt to Christopher, Daniel, Maeve, Kendall, Owen, Andrew, Kevin and Miles. Anna was predeceased by her two nephews Joseph D. Casey, Jr. and John D. Casey.
She was a lifelong resident of Lynn and graduated from St. Mary’s Girl’s High School in 1948, she then went on to further her education by completing a secretarial program and worked for General Electric until her retirement. She was proud to be one of the first female managers in the history of the GE. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and connecting with former GE employees through the GE Old Timers where she served as a board member and secretary. She belonged to Our Lady of the Assumption Social Club where she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She embraced the Boston Globe’s crossword puzzle, which she proudly completed every day.
Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 17 Grove Street, Lynnfield. Burial will be private.
