Anna A. McMahon Downey

Anna was born in Lynn, MA to the late Thomas and Dot (Perry) McMahon. She was employed with Converse Shoes for several years, retiring in 1979. Anna was an avid reader and Yahtzee player. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her son Michael Mascovitz and wife Sherry of Saugus, daughters Janet Sutton of FL, Carol Freise of Stoneham, and Patricia Gaudet and husband Robert of Lynn. Also survived by sister-in-law Virginia Perry of Swampscott, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Anna was predeceased by her son William J. Mascovitz, Jr., grandson Michael Gaudet, siblings Frank Perry, Louis Perry, Patricia Poindexter, Hazel Chapman and Lois Bowdren.

Anna's Funeral will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Monday at 12:30PM. Burial in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours Sunday from 4-6PM.
