Anthony B. Varallo

Mr. Anthony B. Varallo, age 79, of Lynn, passed away on Friday morning after a lengthy illness in the Kaplan Family Hospice House. He was the beloved husband of Madeline A. (Boccello) Varallo, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

Born, raised and educated in Swampscott, Anthony was the son of the late Carmine and Josephine (Varallo) Varallo.

He was employed throughout his career, which he loved, as an electrical engineer at GT & E in Waltham and with Osram Sylvania in Beverly.

A devoted husband and father, Anthony was blessed with a kind heart, a warm smile, great wit and a terrific sense of humor.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Lisa M. Varallo of Forest Hills, NY and Michele Varallo of Lynn. He was the brother of Adeline Bonanno of Swampscott.

Anthony’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Holy Family Church at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8PM.
