Arlene Marcy M. Wilson Welch

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Rita M. (McGovern) Wilson and was a lifelong Lynn resident.

Marcy was a generous and giving person; a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband she leaves three daughters Lisa Smith of Beverly, Kimberley Holt and her husband Aaron, and Terri Smith all of Lynn, two brothers James and Colin Wilson both of Lynn, two sisters Lorraine Costa and her husband Dave of Malden and Joanne Wilson and her companion Robert Peterson of Lynn, five grandchildren Elizabeth Vega, Sandra Garcia and her companion Jhonny Rodriguez, Miguel Vega, Chynell Gassim and Anthony Quinones, a great-granddaughter Christina Rodriguez, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ronald, Douglas and Phillip Wilson and Carol Ortiz.

The funeral will be held on Friday at 8 AM from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Chapel Lynn at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 3-6 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Greater Lynn Senior Services 8 Silsbee Street, Lynn 01902.
