

Born in Burlington, Vermont, Barbara graduated from Saugus High School, Class of 1964, before proudly serving her country as a member of the United States Navy. Her military service reflected the strength, determination, and patriotism that characterized her throughout her life.
Barbara was a hardworking and dedicated professional whose career included positions as a Sears Automotive Technician, Security Guard, and Material Handler at Keene Lighting Products in Wilmington. She was especially proud of her role as a Union Representative, advocating for the rights of her fellow workers and helping ensure their voices were heard.
Barbara embraced life with enthusiasm and an adventurous spirit. She was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time on the course with friends and family. She also loved to travel, with Ireland holding a special place in her heart. A passionate New England sports fan, Barbara faithfully followed the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, celebrating their victories and sharing her love of the game with those around her. In quieter moments, she enjoyed reading science fiction novels, was a devoted fan of Star Trek, and found great pleasure in freshwater fishing, pursuits that reflected her curiosity and sense of adventure.
More than anything, Barbara treasured her family. She will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, sense of humor, and the genuine care she showed to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved wife, Susan Barruw; her parents, Francis Bryant and Hanorah “Helen” Snow; and her sister, Jean Pawlicki.
She is survived by her devoted nephew, James Pawlicki and his wife, Kristen, of Lynn, Massachusetts, and her nephew, Charles Safford of Swanton, Vermont. Barbara is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Janice (Mark) Ross, Brenda (Jay) Davidson, Amy (Paul) Sliva, Marcy (Scott) Sawin, and Natalie (Kevin) Ferrari. Barbara was a loving aunt to Andrea and Danielle Ross; Lauren and Ashley Sliva; Frankie and Thomas Sawin; Ben Ferrari; and Jeffrey Davidson, all of whom brought her great pride and joy.
Barbara's life was marked by loyalty, resilience, and love. Whether cheering on her favorite teams, sharing stories from her travels, enjoying a round of golf, or spending time with family, she found happiness in life's simple pleasures and in the relationships she cultivated over the years. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
