Barbara A. Paulette

Born in Lynn, Barbara was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Sharpe) Nelson. She lived in Lynn for most of her life, previously residing in Marblehead for 20 years.

Barbara enjoyed gardening and all types of yard work, cooking, walking, and especially her grandchildren.

She leaves her daughters, Jean Carola of Swampscott and Donna Torosian of Florida. She was the sister of Alice Trudeau of Lynn, Elizabeth LaFlame of Lynn, Arthur Nelson of Florida, Richard Nelson of Lynn, Millie Pasquale of Lynnfield, Marion Conway of Lynn, Frank Nelson of Cambridge, Lawrence Nelson of Lynn, Margie Messina of Nahant and Harold Nelson of Hampton, NH. She is further survived by her 2 grandchildren, Brandon and Haley Carola as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arlene and Robert Nelson.

Barbara’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, 571 Boston St. Lynn on Wednesday at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery. At Barbara’s request, Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
