Bernadette N. (LeBlanc) Oak, age 90, of Lynn, died on Friday January 3, 2020. Born in Canada, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Virgine (Richard) LeBlanc and she was predeceased by her husband Lawrence J. Oak, of Lynn.
She leaves three daughters, Denise (Oak) Fisher of Massachusetts, Lucille (Oak) Plante and her husband Norman Jr. of Fort Myers, Florida, and Andrea (Oak) Couture and her husband Anthony of Sterling, Massachusetts, one son Andrew Oak of Lynn, nine grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and five great grandchildren. She leaves four sisters Jean and the late Albert Jordan, of Marblehead, Marie-Paul Black and her husband David Black, the late Elda and the late Charlie Major, the late Lea Begin. She is also survived by Alcide Leblanc and wife Anne Marie of Canada, she also was predeceased by her six brothers.
Bernadette’s visiting hours will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 8:30am to 10:00am followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 571 Boston Street, Lynn, MA 01905 at 11:00. Burial is at St. Jean Cemetery, Lynn. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting for donations be made to Sacred Heart Church, 571 Boston Street, Lynn, MA 01905.
