Dear Hogan Family,

I just learned of Brian’s passing today and I am heart broken. I will always remember Brian as a fun loving prankster who lived life like no other. His love of sports, playing basketball, and being just and great friend made him a joy to be around. 

I envied the way he lived his life. I recall a time when I got him a job at a restaurant I was working at on route 1 in Saugus.  He walked in, felt the heat of the kitchen and said no thanks, it will make his skin break out too much. Or, how clean he kept his car, you were not allowed to eat or drink in it.. EVER. When he lived with Derek Killoren and I over on Dell court,  he kept everything perfectly neat and would remind us about the importance of organization.  He was a good friend and someone I was proud to know.

My heart breaks for you. Please accept my deepest, deepest sympathy. 


My son Joey who passed away 3 years ago had spent great times at the Hogan house.  Please take my deepest sympathy.  Maybe Brian and Joey are together again.  May He Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Brian’s passing.  The Hogans are a great,  long-time Lynn  family who have given so much to the city and the community.  Please accept our deepest sympathies on behalf of the McGuire family of Lynn.

Helen, Kerry, Shawn, Kevin and Michael, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Brian as a little kid, always with Chris by his side, playing Batman and Robin or with their Starwars action figures. I remember Chris and Brian begging me to take them to see whichever the latest Starwars movie was in the theater, and then the 2 of them grinning from ear to ear while watching it. He always had a smile on his face and they were always up to something.

To The Hogan Family.
My deepest sympathies on the loss of Brian. As you know Brian and I go all the way back to the beginning on Graves Ave in Lynn. He was always there to play hoops and keep things spirited. He always had lighthearted jokes and a youthful enjoyment about sports and life.  I tried to stay in touch throughout the years and we were always friends. He will be missed and his competitive spirit will always be with us.
