Bruce A. Jensen

Mr. Bruce A. Jensen, age 54, of Lynn, died peacefully on Thursday afternoon in the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Janet (Pahlm) Jensen, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, Bruce was the son of the late Arnold and Eleanor (Greene) Jensen. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn.

Bruce enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country during the Vietnam War.

Prior to his retirement earlier this year, Bruce worked as an X-Ray Technician for GE. He enjoyed hiking, crossword puzzles, reading, and watching “Jeopardy.” He especially enjoyed cookouts and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Bruce leaves his stepdaughters, Susan Mantia and her husband Darin of Pelham, NH, Wendy Dewling and her husband Mark of Melrose and Penny Seery and her companion Roberto Alfonso both of Lynn. He was the brother of Lee Burke of Union, NH, Jo-Ann Littitsedt of Wells, ME and Susan Martinez of TX. He was the Grandfather of Jonathan, Anthonee and Gabrielle Mantia and Mark William Dewling. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and was the brother of the late Peggy Griffin and Lisa Newell.

Bruce’s Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery.
