He performed with Al Mitchell and, later, with The Blue Notes, bringing joy to countless people through his music. One of his greatest pleasures was entertaining residents at local nursing homes, where his performances brought smiles to so many.
Beyond music, Carmello loved youth baseball and was actively involved in supporting young athletes. Family was the center of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with those he loved.
In recognition of his contributions to music and the community, Carmello was inducted into the Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute Hall of Fame alongside his grandson, Brian D'Amico.
