Carol A. Meechin

Born in Swampscott, MA on July 30, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Dill) Borders. Carol was a graduate of Lynn English. She then went on to work as a bookkeeper for GLSS in Lynn for many years until her retirement.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed gambling, and going to Foxwood’s whenever she had the chance. Above all else though, Carol loved her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the light of her life.

Surviving Carol are her children, Chris Meechin and his wife Emily of Lynn, Wendy Venza and her husband Jimmy of Lynn, and Debbie Meechin of Lynn; her grandchildren, Michael Meechin and his wife Angela, Ryan Werner and his wife Jillian, Maddison Holmes and her fiancé Bernard, Nora Meechin, and Lillian Meechin; her great grandchildren, Jack Meechin, and Kennedy Meechin; her siblings, Robert Borders and his wife Sharon of Peabody, and Barbara Nygren of Swampscott, as well as many Nieces, nephews and friends

Arrangements: Friends and family are invited to call at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Tuesday, July 6th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 7th at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
