Carol A. Wise, age 70, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Union Hospital. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Dorothea (McCarthy) Wise. She lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life and attended North Shore Community college.
She worked as an assembler at the former Champion Lamp Company in Lynn.
She enjoyed playing bingo and watching TV, and was a New England Sports Fan.
She leaves a brother Charles O. Wise, Jr. and his wife Ann of Florida and formerly of Lynn, an aunt Ruth Mott of Taunton, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also the sister of the late John Wise.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a Prayer Service at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or to Stem Cell Research.
