Born and raised in Lynn, she graduated from St. Jean’s Grammar and High School, and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary J. (Robichaud) Gautreau. She lived in Lynn before moving to Florida 20 years ago.
For many years Caroline was a teacher’s aide in the Lynn public school system.
She leaves her children Kelly Finocchio and her husband Thomas of Peabody, and William Lavino and his wife Tracy of Deland, FL, three brothers Robert Gautreau of Seabrook, NH, Donald Gautreau and his wife Linda of Plaistow, NH and Paul Gautreau of Lynn, two sisters Irene Buckley and her husband Tom of Beverly and Annette DeMarco of Lynn, five grandchildren Samantha, Jessica, Laura, Mia and Vincent, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Monday from 9AM to 11AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a funeral Service at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will be private.
