
Mr. Carroll Mosychuk, age 79, of Salem, NH and formerly of Lynn, died Thursday at his home. He was the beloved husband for 53 years of Mrs. Carol (Kitchin) Mosychuk, and was the father of Thomas C. Mosychuk who died on September 19, 2010.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara ( Bartashuk) Mosychuk. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1949 and lived in Salem, NH for the past 8 years.
Carroll was an electrical engineer and mechanical engineer for the B&M Railroad and later the M.B.T.A. He then worked as a transportation consultant in New York City before retiring.
He served in the Army Reserves for 18 years and was discharged a Sergeant Major.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a son Paul Mosychuk of Amesbury, a daughter Kristin Haskell of Lawrence, a sister Eva Cadwell of Lynnfield, a brother Henry Mosychuk and his wife Margaret of Dedham, a granddaughter Sarah Ann Bell, a grandson Thomas C. Mosychuk, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Karen Mosychuk and brother of the late Edward Mosychuk.
A funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church 64 Forrester Street, Salem. Visiting hours in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Thursday 4-7 PM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
