

Mrs. Cathleen M. “Cathy” (Martin) Fioravanti, age 54, of Lynn, died peacefully on Saturday in Salem Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Fioravanti, with whom she shared nearly 30 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, Cathy was the daughter of William E. Martin Jr. and Ethel M. (Furey) Martin of Lynn. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1978 and later graduated from Salem State University with a double degree in Accounting and Management. She traveled throughout the world extensively with her family and for business and for the past 5 years, she worked as a Senior Revenue Accountant for Charles River Development in Burlington.
Cathy enjoyed gardening, spending time at the camp in Liberty, Maine, baking and cooking, reading, Sudoku puzzles and animals. She was known for her “award winning photos”. Cathy loved life, her family, her close-knit circle of friends, her work and her co-workers, her religion and her church. Holidays were always the highlight of the year.
In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves her daughter, Nicole Fioravanti of Lynn. She was the sister to William E. Martin III and his wife Rosemary of Georgetown, Nancy Amirault and her husband Paul of Lynn and Michael Martin and his wife Ann of Newton, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cathy’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8PM.
