Charlotte R. Morin Bergendahl

Born in Lynn, and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Bean) Morin.

Charlotte was a registered nurse and worked at Lynn Hospital for many years. She later was the Head of Central Services at Union Hospital for several years and retired in 2001.

She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Knights of Columbus and at St. Michael’s Hall, but most especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was the mother of Pauline R. Bergendahl and her fiancé Michael Muise of Lynn, Candyce A. Byrne and her husband Toby of Lake Suzy, FL, Belynda J. Mayo and her husband John of Howe, TX, Karl Bergendahl of Punta Gorda, FL, and of the late Marcy Bergendahl. She also leaves two brothers Lawrence Morin of Jacksonville, FL and Raymond Morin of Lynn, three sisters Barbara French of Lenox, Lucille Lardiere of Lynn and Dorothy Montion of MD, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to American Cancers Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham 01701 or to American Diabetes Assn., 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston 02110.
