Chester K. "Chet" Holmes III

Chet was born in Lynn, son of Elinor M. (Cameron) Holmes of Peabody and the late Chester K. Holmes. He was a resident of Lynn for most of his life before moving to Beverly six month ago. He was a graduate of St. Josephs Institute and Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute Class of 1974.

He was a United States Army veteran.

Chet was the owner of Chet Holmes Electrical for many years.

He was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his mother Chet is survived by his son Ryan D. Holmes of Lynn, one brother Russell Holmes of Lynn, one sister Lori Williams of Lynn and Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was the brother of the late Donald Holmes.

Chet’s Funeral will be from the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 9:00 AM. His Funeral Mass will be in Holy Family Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
