Christine M. M. Cooke

Christine Mary Margaret (Finucane) Cooke, of Peabody and formerly a long-time resident of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the age of 90. Born and raised in Limerick City, Ireland , Christine was the youngest daughter of the late Patrick and Brigid (Nevins) Finucane. She celebrated 42 years of marriage with her husband, the late John M. Cooke. Christine was proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed dancing and listening to Irish music with her friends. She was a dedicated wife and mother to her loving family.

Christine leaves her children: Josephine P. Cooke of Peabody, Robert J. Cooke of Lynn, John P. Cooke of Lynn, and Caroline M. Cooke of Peabody. Christine was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Margaret along with her 11 late older siblings.

Funeral from the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, 8 So. Common St. Lynn at 9am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 27th from 4 to 8pm.
