David Mark Etzel

Born in Cambridge, David was the son of Catherine (Gumb) Etzel of Lynn and the late Rev. Robert W. Etzel, Sr. He previously resided in Amesbury, Lynnfield and Palmer before moving to Saugus 15 years ago, where he resided at the Bridgewell House.

David’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff and friends of Bridgewell, the State of Massachusetts, the VNA Hospice Care and the many others who cared for David over the past years.

In addition to his mother, David leaves 2 brothers, Robert W. Etzel, Jr. of Lynnfield and Turner, ME and Bruce W. Etzel and his wife Brenda of Danvers and 1 sister, Deborah Gray of Turner, ME. He was the Uncle of Jason and Jonathan Gray of Turner, ME and Timothy and Cait Etzel of Danvers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

David’s Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield will be private. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers, gifts in David’s memory may be sent to Bridegwell, 471 Broadway, Lynnfield, MA 01940.
