Born on October 22, 1956, in Lynn, David was the oldest child of John and Bernice Hurley. After graduating from Lynn Classical High School in 1974, he went on to work in the hospitality industry at various locations, including Lynn Hospital, where he met Karyl Hearon, whom he later married in 1983. David and Karyl remained married until 2017.
David leaves behind his ex-wife, Karyl, their children, David, Sarah, Paul, and Brian, three grandchildren, with one on the way, his siblings, John, Karen, and James, and his partner, Anthony Grady. David was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice.
More than anything, David was a loving father, brother, Papa, and uncle.
Services were held on October 22, 2026, which would have been David’s 70th birthday.
