David W. Miles

Born in Colorado Springs, CO, David was the son of the late Roger B. and Muriel (LeBlanc) Miles. He grew up and was educated in Lynn before being drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

After the Army, he worked for the City of Lynn for over 40 years. David enjoyed gardening and was an avid Patriots fan. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughters; Erica McKeon and her husband John of Topsfield, and Leah Miles of Brooklyn, NY. He was the loving Grandfather of Lillian, John, and Henry. He was the brother of Judy Benedetto of NH, and Sandra Raymond of Winchendon. David is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is survived by many good friends and neighbors. David leaves his dog Maggie.

David’s Funeral Service will be held at the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple St., Lynn on Thursday June 25, 2015 at 7PM. Visiting Hours prior to his service beginning at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
