David N. Thompson, age 75, of Lynn died Sunday July 30th at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers after a brief illness. He was the husband of Francine P. (Pescione) Thompson with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in Gloucester, July 1, 1948, he was the son of the late Ralph and Madeline (Vino) Thompson. Dave was educated in Gloucester. He was a cook at the Continental in Saugus, at the Blueberry Hill Nursing Home in Beverly, the LaSalette Shrine in Ipswich and several other North Shore restaurants until he retired 10 years ago. An excellent handyman he enjoyed doing projects around the home, woodworking and gardening.
Service Details: Private funeral services were held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn.
