

Born in Lynn and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (LaPointe) Farese. Dolores graduated from Lynn Classical High School.
She formerly worked as a waitress at Lavoie’s Ballard Restaurant and at Valle’s Steak House. She then worked as a bookkeeper, first for the McCormick Company and then for North Shore Hardware.
For many years Dolores was a foster mother for over 40 children. She enjoyed crafts, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Jana DiGianvittorio and her husband James of Peabody, Patti Sharp of Lynn, Michael Ausiello and his wife Jennifer of Everett, Lisa Baione and her husband Christopher of Beaumont, TX, John Ausiello and Mikey Ausiello both of Lynn, her siblings Sandra Farese of Lynn, John Farese and his wife Sharon of Mooresville, IN, Janice Bourque and her husband Roland of SC and Jane Reagan-Crook of SC, her grandchildren Janelle Schoch and her husband Robert, James and Jenna DiGianvittorio, Talia and Christopher Baione, and Sean Sharp, her great-grandsons Jaxon and Brayden Schoch, and her longtime friend Edward Szafranski of Lynn. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Dolores was the sister of the late Anthony Farese, Elizabeth Richard, Albert Farese and Gerald Farese.
Her funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
