Donna Marie Connolly

Donna Marie (Grisko) Connolly, of Lynn, passed away peacefully after a very brief illness, on the one-year anniversary of her late husband Bill Connolly. Together they shared over 59 years of marriage.

Donna was a lifelong resident of Lynn, the daughter of the late Edward and Muriel (Secor) Grisko. Donna dedicated herself as a nurturing mother while working various part time jobs to support the family. Donna loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always up for a good time and a good laugh, whether it was playing card games with “the girls”, and her daily ritual of a “SoCo” Manhattan at 5pm sharp daily. As a resident of Kings Beach Towers, she kept busy as “Donna the Librarian”. She was also a proud alum of Lynn Classical High School where she helped organize the 65th class reunion last summer.

Donna leaves behind her four children James and his wife Jennifer of Georgetown, Patricia and her husband Joseph Bruneau of Lynn, Kathleen and her husband Stephen Tartarini of Lynn, and Kevin and his wife Jennifer of Peabody, her sister Rita and her husband Gary Slade of La Quinta California, her grandchildren all of whom she adored, each of whom believed they were her favorite, Patrick, Meghan and Brendan Connolly, Mathieu Bruneau, Ben, Sarah and Katie Tartarini, and Cameron Connolly, a niece Sharon Dunn and a nephew Keith Slade. She was also the sister of the late George Grisko.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 9AM to 11AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
