Donna H. Hudson Langevain

Mrs. Donna H. (Hudson) Langevain, 67 of Nahant died Tuesday in North Shore Medical Center Salem Hospital after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Larry Langevain with whom she shared 43 years of marriage.

Donna was born in Lynn daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (White) Hudson. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1961 and then went on to Essex Agricultural Cosmetology School in 1962. She was a resident of Nahant for the past 42 years and previously resided in Lynn.

Donna worked as a Hairdresser at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home for the past 25 years, where she was a big part of the Funeral Home Family she was loved by all she worked with, She previously worked at Sal’s Beauty Salon.

Donna was a Girl Scout Leader for Troop 134, she also taught Thursday School at the Nahant Village Church. Donna had many talents one in particular was the cakes she would bake and decorate. She enjoyed scrapbooking and playing on the computer.

Donna’s true devotion was her family. In addition to her loving husband she is survived by her devoted children Marc W. Langevain and his wife Jonna of Nahant, Stacey L. Langevain and her boy friend Robert J. Quinlan, Jr. of Natick and Jodi Langevain and her fiancée Richard Robertson, Jr. of Peabody. She is also survived by her brother Donald Hudson of Lynn, 3 sisters Barbara Mitchell of Lynn, Constance McCarthy of Louiseville, KY, Audrey Kinney and her husband Osmond of Lynn. She is the cherished grandmother of Dakoda Langevain and many nieces and nephews including Pam and Rick Hudson of Lynn. She is also survived by her three sister-in-laws Judy Hudson of Lynn, LuFern Hudson of Westerly, RI and Helen Hudson of Salem.

She was the sister of the late Richard, Kenneth and Charles Hudson and Priscilla Cobb.

Donna’s Funeral Service will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday at 10:00 Am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 3-7 PM. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant.
