Donnie Cote

Born in Lynn on February 29, 1968 to his beloved parents Ernest Cote, Sr. and the late Barbara (Aliferis) Cote.

Donnie graduated from Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute in 1986. For many years, he was a truck driver for Old Neighborhood and Di’Luigi. When he wasn’t busy working or watching his favorite New England sports teams, like his favorite Boston Bruins, you could catch him relaxing and enjoying the ocean, whether he was laying back on a cruise or most of all, Donnie loved to go to Long Sands Beach in York, Maine with his family.

He was the cherished father to Ryan of Medford, Jacqui, Kerry and Taylor Cote all of Reading, MA, the dear brother to Gail Somers and her husband James of Lynn, Cheryl Potter and her husband Raymond of Lynn, Scott Cote and his wife Thelxi of Swampscott, Douglas Cote and Barbara “Buffy” Cote of Lynn; the former husband of Robin Cote, and his former brother-in-law Frank Ludwig. He is also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his brothers Ernest, Jr. and Ronald.

Donnie’s visiting hours will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 3-7 PM. His Services and Interment will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM, please meet at the main gate of the cemetery on Boston Street. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
