Dorothy W. Harbaugh

Dorothy (Johns) Harbaugh wife of the late Sheldon Harbaugh, died Jan. 10, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Lillie (Milton) Johns and Harry Johns. She is survived by her son Rodney Harbaugh and daughter Kathleen Reynolds. She was the mother of the late Sheldon Jimmy Harbaugh and Karen Gray. Dorothy leaves 11 grandchildren, 4 greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sister Ruth McGovern and was sister to the late Edith Johns, Edward B Johns Sr. and George Johns. She Graduated from Lynn Classical H.S. class of 1944. She was an LPN at the former Lynn Hospital and Lenox Hill Nursing Home. Dorothy was a member of St. Stephens Church and the Guild of Saint Barnabus for nurses. She greatly enjoyed bingo and her grandchildren.

Service Information: Funeral will be from Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn

On Friday at 10:00 AM followed by services at St. Stephens Memorial Episcopal Church at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday January 14th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
