Edward J Matthias

Edward J. Matthias, age 37 years, of Revere died unexpectedly Tuesday April 28th at Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, surrounded by his family. He was the FiancAC. of Jenny Erickson. Born in Lynn he was the son of Edward J. Matthias of Abington and the late Diane (Lawler) Matthias. Eddie attended Lynn schools; he also attended and graduated from Mass School of Barbering and Men's Hairstyling, Class of 1998. He was employed as a barber at The Men's Room in Medford, until opening up his own shop, Medford's Finest last October. Eddie enjoyed weight lifting, and was an avid Boston Sports Fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his two children, and the sports that they participated in. In addition to his fiancAC.e and father he is survived by one son Devin Matthias, one daughter Kaylee Matthias, four brothers Robert McNeil of Lynn, Jonathan Matthias of Abington, Dennis Mills of Peabody, Jason Mills of Rhode Island, two sisters Tanya Matthias of Taunton, Jessica Mills-Matthias of Revere, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
