Mrs. Elizabeth (Turketta) Schiazza, age 85, of Lynn, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Schiazza.
Born in Lynn and a lifelong Lynn resident, Mrs. Schiazza was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cesaria (Sardilli) Turketta. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially spending time with her family.
She leaves a son: James Schiazza of Lynn. She was the loving grandmother to Jodie, Kim, Tina and Angela. Great grandmother of Krista, Julian, Gabriella and Brianna. Great Great grandmother of Darius and Felisa. She was predeceased by a daughter Elizabeth Bennett, her brothers Anthony, Benjamin and Novio Turketta, her sisters Margaret Sawyer, Rosie Maher and Virginia Nadeau.
Funeral Services for will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be held prior from 9 to 11am.
