Enrique Torres

Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, Enrique was raised there and came to the United States in 1952, previously residing in Framingham before moving to Lynn in 1997.

Prior to his retirement in 1983, he was employed for over 25 years as a Custodial Supervisor for Dennison Manufacturing Company in Framingham. He also worked as a Cook for the Howard Johnson Hotel. Always active, He was an avid gardener and loved to ride his bike.

He leaves his children, Robert Torres of Framingham, Enrique Torres of CA, Julio Torres and his wife Kimberly of NH, Delfina Torres of CA, Nilda Torres of Puerto Rico, Lizette Torres of Lynn, Mary Febres and her husband John of Westford and the late Rosita So who died on December 6, 2010. He was the father-in-law of Bunroth So of Lynn and the brother of Felix Burgos of NY, Maria Planas of NY and Santa Alisea and her husband Israel of FL. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Enrique’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
