Florence M. Adams

Florence M. (Brault) Adams, of Topsfield, formerly of Peabody, passed away in the Masconomet Healthcare Center in Topsfield on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Born in Salem, MA on January 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Leo F. and Mary (Manning) Brault. Florence was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. Florence was married to the late Robert L. Adams, Sr. Florence worked for many years as the secretary in the nursery of Lynn Hospital. She worked until the hospital’s closing and was lucky enough to see many new faces enter the world, including her own grandchildren. Florence was an avid gardener of flowers in her spare time. She also really enjoyed cooking as well as following her beloved Red Sox. A warm, generous and loving woman by nature, Florence found great enjoyment in caring for the things and those she loved in life. Florence is survived by her children; Robert L. Adams, Jr. of Portsmouth, NH, Donna Morse of Newton, NH, Kenneth Adams and his wife, Dorothy of Lynn, and the late Cheryl Keraghan, her 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her siblings; Nancy McCarthy and her husband, Jack of Newburyport, Sarah LeBlanc of Peabody, Carol Foley and her husband, James of Salem, NH as well as several nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her siblings; Leo Brault, Leona Chounard, Marie Dumas, and Patricia Arthur. Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St. Lynn at 11am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 4 to 8pm.
