Frances Irene Bragan

Frances Irene Bragan, 80 of Lynn passed away on March 9, 2020. She was born in Boston on March 3, 1940 to her beloved parents the late Gilbert Furlong and Mary (O’Brian) Furlong. She was predeceased by her former partner and longtime friend Phillip Bragan. Frances grew up in Winthrop and later moved to Lynn where she raised her big loving family. She was a devoted and loving mother, always there when you needed someone and would do anything for her family. A lover of the great outdoors and the peace that it brought her, she loved being able to go to “the country” or better known as Freedom NH with the family. Another of her favorite pastimes was playing bingo and talking about the latest gossip with her friends. She was the cherished mother of Philip Bragan and his wife Donna, Paul Bragan and his wife Laura, Kathleen Bragan and her husband Anthony Constanino, Alice Bragan, Ellen Grunst and her husband Brian, Kristine Callahan, Denise Bragan and her husband Joseph Cennami, Michelle Oliver, Suzanne Burke and her husband Mark, and John Bragan and his wife Melesa; the dear sister of Evelyn Fuller, Pastor Don Davenport and his wife Jean, Eleanor Fontana, Pastor Richard Margeson, Bruce Margeson, Ronald Margeson, Marjorie Margeson, Bertram Margeson , and the belated William Furlong; the proud Grandmother of 30, and Great Grandmother of 36; the dearest friend of Claire Walton and Linda Farese. Visiting hours will be held in the Cuffe- McGinn Funeral home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, on Friday March 13, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral Services are to follow in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Fran was a friend to all at PACE and she will be missed by many, clients and staff alike.
Fran's favorite activity was bingo three times a week and it just wasn't the same this week without her.

Fran sat across from me every wed at bingo in our senior housing...she would always hav her viewpoint on how our 2 soap operas were doing...I enjoyed our talks on what was going to happen on y& r and bold n beautiful..I will miss her very much...rest in peace..god bless YOU. it was a pleasure to know you fran.
