He was the husband of the late Louise M. (Deveney) Mailloux.
Born in Lynn, he lived in Lynn all of his life, and was the son of the late Harvey and Lillian (Richard) Mailloux. He graduated from St. Jean-Baptiste School and from Lynn Classical High School. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII, and was a longtime member of the American Legion.Buddy was an engine tester at the G.E. River Works for 43 years before retiring. He was an avid woodworker.
He leaves a son Torin Mailloux of Lynn, three daughters Maura Leason and her husband David, Melanie Mahoney and her husband Paul, and Lorna Alphen all of Lynn, six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Doris Mailloux and Rita Macdonald.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Abbott House Activities Fund, 28 Essex Street, Lynn, MA 01902.
