Frederick "Fred" Curcio Jr.

Born in Lynn, Fred was the son of the late Frederick and Rose (Martel) Curcio. He attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn.

Prior to his retirement, Fred spent over 43 years as a machinist for the General Electric Co. He was a member of the Eastern Rifle & Revolver Club and former member of the Winthrop Yacht Club. Fred enjoyed fishing and boating.

He leaves two sons: Kevin Curcio and his wife Barbara of Pensacola, FL and Mark Curcio and his wife Shawna of Lynn. He was the grandfather to Christina and her husband Richard, Gina and her husband Michael, Shaun, Lacey, Logan, Jayson, Olivia and Natalee. He was the great grandfather to Justin, Brian and Christian. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward Curcio and Rosemarie “Dolly” Choquette.

Fred’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 11:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 12:30PM. Relatives and friends invited.
