Born in Charlestown, he was the son of the late John J. and Annie (McPherson) Delaney.
Prior to his retirement, George spent many years as a supervisor for Polaroid.
He leaves his sister, Frances T. Delaney of Nahant as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John D. Delaney, William F. Delaney and Anna G. Delaney.
A Graveside Service for George will be held in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant St. NAHANT on Thursday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. At the request of the family, Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
