Georgiann Blatsos Cargill

Born in Lynn, Georgiann was the daughter of the late George J. and Effie (Caragianis) Blatsos. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1973 and Northeastern University Class of 1986. Georgiann worked as a medical technologist for 40 years at Northshore Medical Center. She enjoyed interior design, cooking and entertaining, making pottery and jewelry as well as gardening. Georgiann especially loved her dogs Bozwell, Buster and Hugo Monroe. Above all, she enjoyed being around her family and friends.

In addition to her son, she is survived by her siblings: James M. Blatsos of Lynn, Christine Blatsos Sprague and her husband Theodore of Maine, Stephanie Hope Blatsos and her husband Robert L. Mendelsohn of California, and Maryann Blatsos of Salem. She was the former wife of Paul Cargill, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visitation at the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday from 3-8PM. Funeral Services are private.
